Facebook has dominated the social networking scene for the past several years. Millions of new Facebook users sign up every year which has the international site growing leaps and bounds past its competition. Google may have the lion’s share of the popularity and success when it comes to the world of search engines but it hasn’t been able to pierce the impenetrable shield that surrounds Facebook which is why they are jumping into the social networking world with their latest development, Google Plus. What makes Google Plus different from Facebook is that you can create specified groups within your circle of friends and share information, pictures and even texting within that group. Google Plus will have a hard fight on its hands if it plans on putting a dent in the Facebook armor but there could be a place for Google Plus as many Facebook users search for more efficient ways to communicate with smaller groups of friends, colleagues or associates.
