Memorial Day Weekend is the official start of summer for most Americans which mean traveling to a fun destination and having some fun with friends and/or family. As if flying with your family wasn’t already headache enough, there are new rules being put in place about checking strollers at the gate for outbound flights. Beginning tomorrow, June 1st, 2011, American Airlines will discontinue the checking of certain types of strollers at the gate.
As if the skyrocketing gas prices and ever increasing flight rates weren’t enough to deter many American travelers to book flights, airlines are looking to charge extra fees for services and amenities that used to be free such as; additional legroom.
As of the last week, Atlanta has become one of the newest cities in the US to allow chartered non-stop flights to Cuba as part of the Obama Administration’s ease restrictions between the two countries.
With the recent tornadoes that ripped through the Midwest and Southeast, many fear the worst when it comes to the 2011 Hurricane season. Hurricane season officially begins on June 1st and goes all the way until November 30th.
