Where do I find my passport book number?

Your passport book number is the nine digit code in the upper right of your photo page.

The passport number is NOT the long number at the bottom (although it is contained in that larger code), nor is it the number under the bar code at the back of the passport. That is also a nine digit number, but it is not correct.
